Wow another local Chinese restaurant in our Neighbourhood. We were there for dinner first day they opened on Saturday. Place is bright, spacious and comfortable. Food is very good overall We tried their pick 4 dishes and extremely happy with their generous portions. It came with 4 humongous bowls of white rice. Apparently you get a bowl of rice for every dish ordered. So very good value. The Sweet&Sour pork is fantastic. One of the best I’ve had in a while. Ordered also the fried fish , a curry chicken and fried pork chop dish. All very good. Personally would like the curry a bit less runny. Had the curry next day and it was thicker and tastier! Dinner came with complementary soup and a red bean soup for dessert. We were stuffed and had enough food left over. Will definitely be coming back and also call for takeout meals when not in mood to cook.

Passed by and found out this new Chinese restaurant offers breakfast and gives a try. Their HK milk tea is a bit tasteless (the tea base is not strong or too much water?) the eggs in sandwiches are okay, not raw as another reviewer mentioned. But the ham and egg sandwiches, the piece of ham is way too thin and not using the typical cooked ham as in other Chinese cafes. The Satay beef doesn’t seem to cook/stir fly together before serving. Basically more like regular cooked beef on noodle and add satay sauce on top separately. The only thing good is the price. But you get what you paid for. For better quality, head south to wing tai cafe

Grabbed a chicken meat with rice and a fried rice with BBQ pork cubes as lunch. The chicken meat is from free ranch chicken. Its taste can be a bit more salty. The fried rice with BBQ pork cubes is also good. To be picky, their fried rice can be a bit more dry. Their milk tea is also a surprise, striking a balance between milk and tea. The place is clean. The sunroom is spacious. A nice restaurant in Aurora / Richmond Hill area.

The food is great especially I got their chicken special. The owner, Cathy is so friendly and great service. I will definitely return in future to try their tofu and duck. BTW, their house soup is great.

I had the best birthday ever here, and they were super accommodating! I brought my own cake and if you ask, they will sing happy birthday and play music! The most friendly staff I have ever encountered. For dinner, we had some of the best pork belly in the GTA. Juicy, tender, and just melts in your mouth. It's a MUST TRY if you are in the area. The portions aren't accurate in the photo because we couldn't help ourselves before the photo!! The place itself is brightly lit with a clean yet simple aesthetic. 10/10 would eat here again.

Today, I brought a friend for lunch, and we ordered four dishes. Each one was delicious, and my friend kept praising the flavors. The portions were generous, with each dish served on a large plate—well worth the price. The two of us were so full we could barely walk, and we even packed the leftovers for dinner. It felt like getting two meals for the price of one. The service was excellent, and the waitress was very attentive, starting us off with a complimentary bowl of soup, which was rich in ingredients and full of flavor. She also offered napkins and replaced our plates with clean ones throughout the meal. I’ve found a new place to bring friends for a meal. Highly recommended!

Don’t expect get attention when first walked in and it is just that they are lack of staff to take care of you. We used to This site of old Tangerine several times, and indeed the menu attracted us more. The food is acceptable but the atmosphere need to improve. Went to dinner and we try breakfast-lunch and hope get better experience.

Decent lunch specials! Another random stop as we were driving by. This restaurant is in an unassuming plaza. We were hungry and were going to stop by Farm Boy. Then this restaurant caught our eye. We decided to give this place a try. The place is clean. Not sure if it’s because we arrived close to the restaurant opening. Everything looked well taken care of. The service was a bit slow. It took a while before we were seated even though the place was empty. It took longer for us to order as no one came by to take our order. They took the orders of people that were seated after us. Not sure what the deal was with that. So deducting one star for that. When we finally got our order in, the food came out pretty quickly. We ordered off the lunch menu which comes with soup and a hot beverage of your choice. We chose HK milk tea. It wasn’t bad; lots of evaporated milk. Had a bit of the tannin taste but was flavourful. We ordered the rice noodles with black bean sauce. I am usually hesitant about the black bean sauce because some restaurants came make it too salty. So to mitigate what could have been a disaster, we also ordered yang chow fried rice. The rice noodles with black bean sauce just had enough sauce to cover the noodles. And not too salty at all. The fried rice was also not very salty. Both dishes were surprisingly good. Full marks on the food. When it came time to pay, it was reasonable. $32 for the two dishes. $38 after taxes and tip. Remember, this set comes with soup which most places forego. So it’s a pretty good deal. We still had to take stuff home as we couldn’t finish everything. Overall, the lunch experience was good. If you don’t mind the slow service, this should be a stop for a good home cooked Chinese meal at a reasonable price.
